The Bachelor’s degree program in Veterinary Medicine deals with all measures that promote animal health and wellbeing, including breeding, husbandry, nutrition, and treatment of diseases. Students acquire the skills needed to carry out research on the prevention and treatment of diseases, and gain the knowledge necessary for protecting humans against illnesses contracted from animals and for monitoring animal-based foodstuffs. The degree program also familiarizes students with issues of animal and environmental protection. Upon earning their Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, graduates are qualified to continue their studies in a Master's degree program.
