Degree program: Bachelor of Arts (RVO19)

General description

The minor in Interdisciplinary Archaeological Sciences imparts a basic knowledge of the sources, material, and methods of archaeometry, bioarchaeology, geoarchaeology, and comparative archaeology. The program examines the physiographic relationships in human societies, juxtaposing cultural developments on a large scale from a global and diachronic perspective on the basis of material remains and cultural and anthropological comparison.
Students develop the ability to think along methodological and scientific lines and are introduced to practical work in the field, in museums, and in the lab.
The minor in Interdisciplinary Archaeological Sciences gives those completing a major in a related subject an additional qualification.
